!!!
IMPORTANT!!!
Acura
and Honda codes can be a little bit tricky. ACURA
and HONDA colors usually each have a PAINT
COLOR CODE and FACTORY CODE.
The color tag on the vehicle that has the paint
color code such us NH623M, also has a letter in
the lower right corner has a factory code such as
A. For example, NH623M and NH623M-A is not a same.
If you do not see your factory code there, you need
to look at your VIN (vehicle identification number),
which is located on the drivers side dashboard.
You will need to look through the front window from
the outside in the lower, right corner of the driver's
side. Once you have located the VIN, you need to
identify the 11th digit. That digit will be a C,
S, A, T or any number of other letters or numbers.
That letter or number will be the very last digit
of your paint color code. Example; if your code
in your door jamb is R517P and your VIN 11th digit
is C, your actual paint paint color code is R517P-C.
Look up your color on our web site and you should
see the correct code for your vehicle. |

There are so many other places for the paint color code
to be located for GM cars, so if you do not see
the code on those places mentioned above, we recommend
that you check your Owner's manual for your vehicle
for the location of paint color code. The Owner's manual
does not tell you what the paint color code is, but
it tells you where it's located on your vehicle.
If you do not have the Owner's manual or the paint color code is illegible, contact the dealer with the
VIN number on your vehicle, and they should be
able to provide you with the information. |

Paint Color Code Looks Like:
Usually a three or four digits and start with
a WA, such as WA9795 or without WA such as 9795.
If the vehicle is two-tone there will be an
“L” (for lower) or a “U”
(for upper) before the numbers. Example: WA
U-7154 or WA L-348D. GM usually lists two codes
on every vehicle. There is usually a two digit
code, such as 26.
Hummer H1 paint color code is a 3 digit code such
as B25 and does not have a WA number.
GMC also markets other brand cars under their
own name. Toyota, Suzuki, and Isuzu are all
examples. If your vehicle is one of these, then
the code will be found under the actual manufactures
color list, not GM's. If you do not know what
manufacture produced your vehicle, contact us
so we can help determine the color. |

For a two-tone color vehicle,
finding the paint color code may be a little complicated.
Some vehicles will indicate the two-tone paint color code,
which will tell you what the two colors are. For example,
a 2006 Subaru has a two-tone code "2K1". This tells
that the vehicle is a two tone with paint color codes"22G"
and "26D". Some vehicles do not indicate a two-tone
color code, and show only one of the two color codes (i.e.
either "22G" or "26D" in our previous
example.)
Also some vehicles may also have what is called an "accent
color", which is a strip of color that runs across the
vehicle. For example, a 2006 Lexus may have an accent color
with a color code UCA31.
If you have the two-tone color code or accent color code,
you should be able to find it on our website using our Quick
Search. If the label on your vehicle does not indicate a two-tone
(accent) paint color code and/or show a code only for one of the
colors, or if you can not find the two-tone (accent) paint color code on our website, please e-mail us. Your dealer should
also be able to help you by providing them with your VIN number.
