It's Easy As 1-2-3

Select a make, year and model to show available paint colors for your car.

Know Your Color Code?

Search by a specific color code.

Do not try to guess what the color is--even trained pro's are unable to do that. Some colors may appear to be the same, but they are, in fact, very different. To assure that you pick the right color for your vehicle, it is important to find the "paint color code". Every vehicle has a paint color code, but it is located in different places, depending on the make, year, and model. Please use our Paint Color Code Location Guide to help you locate the code. Your Owner's manual is also helpful. The owner's manual does not tell you what the paint color code is, but it should tell you where the code is located. If you do not have the Owner's s manual, or the code on your vehicle is illegible, contact your dealer with your VIN number, and they should be able to provide you with the information. •    !!! IMPORTANT!!!
Acura and Honda codes can be a little bit tricky. ACURA and HONDA colors usually each have a PAINT COLOR CODE and FACTORY CODE. The color tag on the vehicle that has the paint color code such us NH623M, also has a letter in the lower right corner has a factory code such as A. For example, NH623M and NH623M-A is not a same. If you do not see your factory code there, you need to look at your VIN (vehicle identification number), which is located on the drivers side dashboard. You will need to look through the front window from the outside in the lower, right corner of the driver's side. Once you have located the VIN, you need to identify the 11th digit. That digit will be a C, S, A, T or any number of other letters or numbers. That letter or number will be the very last digit of your paint color code. Example; if your code in your door jamb is R517P and your VIN 11th digit is C, your actual paint paint color code is R517P-C. Look up your color on our web site and you should see the correct code for your vehicle.

    Example1:
    COLOR TAG:
Paint Color Code "NH623M" and factory code "C" (NH623M-C) which is located on the drivers side door jamb.

    Paint Color Code is: NH623M-C
    VIN (vehicle identification number) TAG:
If you do not see your factory code from the color tag, you need to look at the 11th digit of your VIN which is located on the drivers side dashboard.

    Example2:

    Paint Color Code is: B532P-C

  • For a two-tone color vehicle, finding the paint color code may be a little complicated.

Some vehicles will indicate the two-tone paint color code, which will tell you what the two colors are. For example, a 2006 Subaru has a two-tone code "2K1". This tells that the vehicle is a two tone with paint color codes"22G" and "26D". Some vehicles do not indicate a two-tone color code, and show only one of the two color codes (i.e. either "22G" or "26D" in our previous example.)

Also some vehicles may also have what is called an "accent color", which is a strip of color that runs across the vehicle. For example, a 2006 Lexus may have an accent color with a color code UCA31.

If you have the two-tone color code or accent color code, you should be able to find it on our website using our Quick Search. If the label on your vehicle does not indicate a two-tone (accent) paint color code and/or show a code only for one of the colors, or if you can not find the two-tone (accent) paint color code on our website, please e-mail us. Your dealer should also be able to help you by providing them with your VIN number.
